So, if you’re here I’m sure you're wondering what this is going to cost! If you haven't done your homework, I’ll be honest, you're probably in for a bit of sticker shock (psst … it's not cheap!) If you’re trying to decide between hiring me or going with your cousin's friend's sister who just bought a fancy digital camera and will sell you all of the digital negatives for a hundred bucks, I’m probably not your girl! All kidding aside, though, do your homework! There are a ton of amazing photographers out there … and some not so amazing. Before you invest even the smallest amount of money, you should be able to recognize the difference (need help? Awesome Article).

I hope that you've looked around, browsed through portfolios, read a few good articles on custom photography (like this one) and ended up here because my photographs blow you away. (What? Too over the top?) I want you to hire me because my sense of style matches your own, because you connect with my personality (ok, I’ll admit that’s kinda hard to do by just reading my website), because I offer the products that you’re looking for, and, yes, because this is an investment and you are confident that you’re making the right choice (translation: you've decided I’m totally worth it!).

So, now to answer the big question: What will this cost? I recommend anticipating an investment of $800-$1,500 per session. That doesn't mean you HAVE TO spend that much, but a lesser investment would mean having to walk away from some of your photos (and I have yet to meet a client who doesn’t end up wanting ALL of them). There is no hard sell, no hidden costs, no bait and switch. Of course, it is my job to make you want to purchase everything, but my hope is that the photos will speak for themselves. What you ultimately decide to purchase is completely up to you*. My work is 100% guaranteed, so if you are ever unsatisfied you always have the option of a reshoot or a refund.

*Alright, there is a little fine print:
In order to offer clients exceptional customer service, handcrafted products, and a true custom portraiture experience, I am only able to accept a limited number of appointments. Therefore, each portrait session is subject to a $250 order minimum (not including the session fee).

Simple Session (in/around studio only) – $75

Perfect for babies (6 to 9 months old), school-aged children and moms-to-be. Yields an average of 10 to 15 retouched images, in both color and black & white, available for proofing in a private online gallery. Not valid for newborns.

Classic Portrait Session – $200 (local and in-studio) / $300 (on-location)

A photo session for your newborn, child(ren) or family, and an average of 20 to 30 retouched images, in both color and black & white, available for proofing in a private online gallery.

Milestones Package – $575

One full session and two half sessions, split any way you’d like over 18 months. Includes one 5×7 from each session and a custom 10×20 storyboard at the conclusion. (order minimums do apply)

*All session fees include minor retouching and black and white conversions. Session fees are for the time and talent of the photographer and do NOT include any prints or digital negatives, unless otherwise noted. A $100 retainer is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Portrait and Digital Collections

Kelli Dease Photography offers a variety of flexible collections which combine our most popular products with exclusive package savings. Collections range from $695 to $1,395.

Prints and Digital Negatives

Print prices start at $45 for a 5×7 print. Wall portrait prices start at $100 for an 11×14 portrait. Digital negatives can be purchased individually ($100 per image) or within a collection.

Canvases

Canvas portraits are printed on high-grade artists’ canvas, stretcher-mounted, and ready to hang with no additional work needed. Prices start at $300 for a 16×20 Gallery Wrapped Canvas.

Storyboard Compositions

A custom designed composite of graphic elements, text and your favorite images from your session. Prices start at $175 for a 10×20 composite print mounted to foam-board and sprayed with a protective lustre coating. Ready for framing.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates for Kelli Dease Photography begin at $550, which covers the session fee and minimum print order requirement.

All sales, including the session fee, are subject to 6.35% Connecticut sales tax. Payments may be made with cash, check, credit card or PayPal. Payment is due upon placement of order.

Due to the custom nature of products and services, all sales are final.
